Vonte’s kitchen begin when owner Devonte Howard finished college and wanted to show the world his talents for creating smiles and full tummies with food and drinks. At a very young age, he was drawn to the kitchen maybe because he was greedy or it was the smells of home cooking from grandma. He went on to cook for a catering company while in high school. After high school he attended Johnson and Wales University. As a College student he did an various amount of internships and study abroad in Asia for a summer. Doing his time at The Ritz-Carlton he grew to love creating drinks and serving, before getting back on the line when he moved back to his hometown of DC.
We cater events ranging from romantic and intimate to festive and fabulous. Our calendar fills up quickly, so kindly speak with us early in the planning process to ensure availability.
